This week's episode is dedicated to the education and awareness of the Black Lives Matter movement. Chalet Jean-Baptiste, an African American Woman born and raised in Brooklyn, NY is no stranger to inequality and the muffled voices of Black People. Growing up, her father was an NYPD Police Officer, giving her an interesting perspective on police brutality in the USA. Chalet is the author of Black from Scratch and teaches African American Literature at Northern Virginia Community College. Join Chalet and Stephanie as they discuss White Privilege, Looting & Rioting, and how to make real change.
